To solve this, we use Modular Packing. Modular Packing is the practice of grouping related items into smaller, color-coded or labeled pouches (modules) before placing them into the main Go Bag. Instead of searching for a single bandage, you simply pull out the "Medical Module." Creating Your Modules Based on the supplies you gathered in previous chapters, organize your gear into the following modules: The Medical Module: All items from your First Aid and Medical Supplies chapter. Use a red or transparent pouch. The Nutrition Module: Your Emergency Nutrition and Food Storage items. Use a durable, leak-proof bag to prevent crumbs or spills from contaminating other gear. The Utility Module: Tools from Tools and Utility Essentials (multitools, flashlights, batteries). A heavy-duty canvas pouch works best here. The Hygiene Module: Everything from Hygiene and Sanitation. Use a waterproof bag to ensure soap or liquids don't leak onto your documentation. The Admin Module: Your Communication and Documentation folder and backup power banks. A waterproof "dry bag" is highly recommended here. The Comfort/Warmth Module: Clothing and shelter items from Shelter, Warmth, and Clothing. These are often bulky and may stay loose in the bag rather than in a pouch. Benefits of the Modular System 1.
